COGALLOY / LEGAL
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Cogalloy website, support tools, and purchases. Product pages, written order confirmations, and mandatory law may add to or prevail over these terms where applicable.

1. Scope and acceptance
Cogalloy · 造界 (“Cogalloy”, “we”, “us”) operates this website, its catalogue, learning resources, and online store. By using them or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service or place an order.
If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. If you are not old enough to enter into a contract where you live, use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Product pages and technical information
We aim to keep product titles, SKUs, configurations, specifications, images, prices, and availability accurate. Product pages, documentation, tutorials, and selection guidance are informative; confirm the listed SKU, included items, electrical ratings, compatibility, and current availability before relying on a product for a build.
Images and application examples are illustrative. The configuration identified in the accepted order confirmation is the configuration that applies to the purchase. We may correct a clear typographical, pricing, specification, or availability error before confirming an order.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and current contact, delivery, and order information.
- Check that a product is suitable for your intended use, including mechanical fit, interface, voltage, current, battery, firmware, software, and regulatory requirements.
- Follow product documentation, warnings, applicable laws, import rules, and safe working practices.
- Keep order references, verification codes, and payment communications secure, and contact us promptly if you believe an order or payment message is suspicious.
4. Orders, confirmation, and payment
Adding products to a cart or submitting checkout is a request to purchase. We verify the checkout email and create an order record so that we can review the request. An automated acknowledgement does not by itself guarantee stock, accept the order, confirm payment, or promise a shipment or delivery date.
Cogalloy uses a confirmed-order process and does not collect online payment at checkout. After submission, our team contacts you by email to confirm availability, delivery arrangements, and payment instructions before fulfilment. An order is accepted when we provide the applicable confirmation in writing.
We may decline or cancel an unconfirmed order when we cannot supply it, cannot deliver to the requested destination, identify a clear error, or reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If an amount has already been paid for an order we cannot fulfil, we will work with you on the applicable refund or alternative arrangement.
5. Prices, taxes, and payment
Displayed prices and currency are listing information and may change before an order is confirmed. If we discover a clear pricing or configuration error, we will contact you before asking for payment or proceeding with the order.
Available delivery methods, final shipping charges, taxes, import duties, and other applicable charges are confirmed during checkout or in the order confirmation. Unless mandatory law or the written confirmation says otherwise, you are responsible for charges imposed by your destination or chosen payment method.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or other highly sensitive payment information through support chat. Verify payment instructions through our authenticated support channel if anything appears inconsistent.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship only to destinations that are available at checkout or that our team confirms in writing. Delivery dates and transit estimates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. You are responsible for providing a deliverable address and for responding to reasonable delivery, customs, or import requests.
Some products, including batteries or other regulated components, can be subject to carrier, customs, or import restrictions. If a selected method or destination cannot be served, we may offer an alternative, delay the shipment while confirming options, or cancel the unconfirmed order.
7. Cancellations, returns, and product issues
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm whether the request can be accommodated based on the order stage, payment status, and delivery arrangements. Do not send a product back without return instructions.
If a product arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, contact support with the order reference and a clear description of the issue. We will assess the request and provide the applicable return, repair, replacement, or refund process.
Nothing in these terms removes consumer cancellation, return, repair, replacement, refund, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any express warranty is limited to the terms expressly stated on the relevant product page or in the written order confirmation, in addition to mandatory rights.
8. Technical products and safe use
Robotics parts, kits, batteries, motors, controllers, sensors, and software integrations require appropriate technical knowledge and risk assessment. You are responsible for safe assembly, electrical protection, firmware or software configuration, testing, operation, storage, transport, maintenance, and supervision of any system you build.
Lithium batteries and other energy-storage products must be charged, stored, transported, and used only by people familiar with suitable safety procedures and applicable rules. Do not use products in life-support, emergency-safety, or other safety-critical applications unless we have expressly confirmed that use in writing.
Our tutorials and support replies provide general educational information, not professional engineering, safety, legal, medical, or regulatory advice. Always review the current manufacturer documentation and verify a system in a safe test environment before deployment.
9. Content, software, and third-party rights
Website materials—including text, layout, images, guides, and branding—may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Cogalloy retains rights in content it owns, and third parties retain rights in their own content. You may use the materials to evaluate, purchase, and operate products, but may not copy, republish, resell, scrape, or exploit them beyond what law permits or we approve in writing.
Software, firmware, open-source materials, product documentation, and third-party services may be subject to separate licenses or terms. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with them. A third-party product name or trademark is used only for identification or compatibility purposes and does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or authorization unless we expressly state otherwise.
10. Support and acceptable use
Support chat and selection guidance can help you understand the catalogue, but they cannot reliably confirm live inventory, final prices, payment status, delivery status, or order changes. For those matters, use the relevant product page, checkout, or human support channel.
- Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its availability, security, or other users.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, evade controls or rate limits, or collect data through automated means without permission.
- Do not use support tools to submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or unsafe requests.
11. Mandatory rights, disclaimers, and disputes
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We remain responsible for matters to the extent required by applicable law and by any express written commitment that applies to your order.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from a product’s misuse, incompatible integration, unauthorized modification, failure to follow documentation, loss of data, or interruption of a project. Before a dispute, please contact us so we can review the order and try to resolve the issue directly.
12. Privacy, changes, and contact
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to future use and orders after their publication. An accepted order remains governed by the terms and written confirmation that applied when it was accepted, unless the parties agree otherwise or law requires a change.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, catalogue, or law. When we make a material change, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date. For questions about these terms, an order, payment, delivery, returns, or product use, contact us through support or by email.
